"Nutshell" by Alice in Chains (MTV Unplugged)
While working today, I put the Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged concert on in the background. It mysteriously called to me. Intimate, raw, vulnerable, ferocious. I understand too well the demons that give birth to art like this. Human beings are unspeakably fragile.

Then, tonight, I watched Jeff Buckley: It's Never Over. A loving portrait of a rare and special soul. There will never be another like him. Who can forget the first time they heard Jeff's voice? The first time they listened to Grace? The live performances are electrifying. His spirit radiates through the screen. I was thrilled to hear about his close friendship with Chris Cornell, another icon we lost too soon. I'm also jealous of every woman who dated him! He's definitely my dream man, which is why I shall remain a spinster 😆.
