I'm starting a shell stitch blanket using burgundy ombre yarn. I'm in love with it. It will be a kind of Christmas blanket because of the deep red color.

The Disclosure Day granny square blanket is progressing nicely!

The washer died yesterday 😭. Thankfully, I have savings and can cover the cost of getting another one, but it's a reminder of how hard it is surviving without a partner or any safety net. I put the order for the new washer in today all by myself.

I struggle with practical things like this because I'm scared of making a mistake or getting it wrong. I did my research. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly when it's delivered in a few days.
