Well, I crocheted my first hat, and it was a disaster. I did not cinch the top of it properly. It's unwearable. I did learn a useful lesson: I don't like making hats! Not sure when I will try again. I prefer crochet projects that I enjoy.
I'm loving the colorway of the self-striping yarn I'm using for my current blanket. I'm addicted to the granny rectangle design. This will be my fourth one, I think. I've lost count at this point.
The colors of this yarn remind me of the video for Christina Aguilera's "Come On Over." I'm hopelessly nostalgic. So, maybe I will name the blanket after something from the Y2K era.
