I finished my second tote bag! I'm in love with the mint color. I used a different pattern from my first tote bag, and I much prefer because it incorporates v-stitches instead of chains. I might make more of these.
I'm also working on small star blanket that uses granny clusters. If I like this sample, then I will buy some skeins and make a larger version.
I always have to take a photo of the clouds!
BBC Archive: A Spinster's Life (1968)
This BBC profile of spinsters in the 1960s was an interesting little time capsule. One of the women is 37, the age I will turn in a couple of weeks. They talk honestly about life without a partner or romantic love. I laughed when one woman rejected the term spinster in favor of bachelor girl. That does have a nice ring to it!
