The waffle stitch blanket I started months ago is finally complete! It's massive. I love how it envelopes me. I put hundreds of hours into it, and I am so proud of myself for creating it and finishing it. It's the largest blanket I've made so far. I don't think I'll ever make something this big again!

As I finished the border of the blanket, I watched this heartfelt documentary, What's the Story, Wishbone? It brought back sweet memories of being a little girl at my grandma's house and watching the PBS series, Wishbone, which is about a little dog who would daydream and be transported into the stories of classic literature. Maybe this show is one of the reasons I'm such a bookworm!

God, I love my peace. I love being off social media. I love being left alone by people. I love my solitude, my inner world, my own thoughts. I will forever be grateful that I left Instagram in December 2025. It was not a loss, and I miss nothing about it.

After over a decade of sharing online, I walked away. I am more private than I've ever been, only posting on this blog and talking about life and art through the podcast. I feel so liberated. I watch cozy films, crochet beautiful blankets, read great literature, and much more. I nourish my soul.
